Have you started your Support Beauty in Nature project yet? I have a little project in progress and a larger one in mind - although I'm not sure how far I'll get on that.
If you need inspiration, Kaboose's Earth Day Guide has some great ideas. It's geared toward helping kids take small steps to "keep the world cleaner and greener," but there's some good reminders for us non-kids too.
See what you can do in the next few days to make your environment cleaner and/or greener. Then come back and tell us all about it Monday!

Hi there, I just found your fabulous directions for how to make the buttons work in blogger that you left in the comments on the Sarcastic Mom post about this project. I just wanted to tell you I so appreciate you taking the time to do this! In fact, she emailed me the html code, but now I have it forever and always for other buttons too (with the obvious modifications), and I thank you much for taking the time.
ReplyDeleteI'm putting my little project up tomorrow. And now I look forward to looking around on your blog too. Have a nice day.
MommyTime, thanks so much for stopping by and for your sweet comment! There's so much I learn from other people, I'm really excited when I can share something too. :)
ReplyDeleteI'll have to come check out your blog soon!
I like to get clothes from thrift stores if possible. Sometimes you can get practically brand new stuff for a fraction of the price. Of course there are some stuff that you want to buy new, but with those things, make sure you get your money's worth out of them instead of wearing them a few times then getting rid of them. I'm not sure if this is necessarily good for the environment but it is less wasteful of resources.
ReplyDeleteDaniel, that's a great tip! And if it's less wasteful, I think it's probably better for the environment too.
