Anonymous: You know, the rooster crows at random times during the day (and night), so I don't even hear him. It's the dog that has been waking me up and, you're right, I'm pretty sure he has a minimal carbon footprint - er - pawprint. ;)
I think I may be the only "mommy blogger" who's not actually a mommy. But what better time to start learning about kids than before you have them, right? So The Little Stuff of Life (LSL) is about me researching different baby products, thinking through parenting styles, learning about children from others.
I'm far from having it all figured out, so feel free to comment on your experience, advice and opinions - whether you have kids or not. You are welcome to disagree with me or sources I reference, but please be respectful of others' opinions.
Besides researching for the future, LSL is about things I'm doing now, which I like to call "pre-pre-baby stuff." (To me, "pre-baby" = prenatal = you're expecting. We're not even to that point yet, hence "pre-pre-baby.") My husband (who I affectionately refer to here as "the Hubs") and I like to read, travel, cook, and spend time with our families. We've been on the lookout for ways to be less wasteful and kinder to our environment. I also run my own business (see boldavenue.com), so sometimes I'll give an update on that or post gift ideas.
Thanks for being part of The Little Stuff of Life!
I love roosters and chickens. I have the craziest rooster story that my kids always want me to tell.
ReplyDeleteOh, you meant that literally!
ReplyDeleteHappy WW!
Oooo someday I want to live in a place I can have chickens!
ReplyDeleteI love chickens! Do you get eggs?
ReplyDeleteCarrie: The chickens do lay eggs when it's not so crazy hot out!
ReplyDeleteMy grandparents had a farmette when I growing up. We used to gather the eggs. They were the good ole days!
ReplyDeleteI just love chickens!!!
ReplyDeleteI used to have my favourite chicken as a pet when I was a kid! Love the colours and the warmth in this picture!
Cute environmentally friendly alarm clocks you have there! They make it hard to forget to feed them, don't they" :)
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
